Lampdown is a sleep app for adults with ADHD whose mind keeps working after the day is over. It plays guided self-hypnosis over theta-wave music, designed to help you relax, sink into deeper sleep, and wake up feeling rested: save what's still in your head in a short voice note, switch the lamp down, and listen to a 25- or 45-minute session while the screen goes dark.
Adults with ADHD, diagnosed or not, who lie in bed with racing thoughts, tomorrow's to-dos, replayed conversations, or a body that won't settle.
Optionally leave a 60-second voice note with anything still on your mind. Switch the lamp down. Choose 25 or 45 minutes. The audio keeps playing with the screen locked and fades out by itself. In the morning, check off what's done or set a reminder for what matters today.
Each night uses one calming tool, including progressive muscle relaxation, permission to rest, cognitive shuffling, putting tomorrow's tasks on a shelf, a gentle body scan, leaves on a river, a safe place, autogenic relaxation, a boring story, counting down, self-kindness, and paradoxical intention. Night 14 helps you build your own evening ritual.
Yes. Lampdown has 36 recordings at launch in 6 catalogs: Sleep, Get Things Done, Self-Control, Personal Growth, Family & Relationships, and Peace & Faith. Every track comes as self-hypnosis or instrumental only, in 25 or 45 minutes. Suggestions picks tracks from your answers, and you can make your own playlists.
You can start the 14 nights again, or create your own challenge: 4 to 14 evenings of self-hypnosis from any tracks in the library. Give it a name, finish it, and earn a badge you can share. Challenges come with the full version.
Yes. If you have doubts about self-hypnosis or don't trust the method yet, you can first read the full text of every recording in the app, in Settings, before you listen.
